Make-Up Products For The Summer Heat

Make Up Pouch (similar) (similar), Bare Minerals All Over Face Color,  Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, Naked Basics, Concealer, Blush, Bare Minerals Foundation, Mascara, Eyeliner, BB Blender Brush

The transition into Summer has started, slowly but surely. Ever since I moved down to Georgia I had to switch up my make up products between the seasons especially during the hot humid summer days otherwise I would look like a frying pan still covered in grease, no joke 😀

I try to keep it simple especially for my everyday look, first things first I always apply moisturizer, then I apply a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes (shade #5) for a brighter more awake look. While my moisturizer is still moist on my face I dab my brush into a tiny bit of Bare Minerals Original Foundation and buff it into my face. I then use Bare Minerals All Over Face Color in the shade ‘Warmth’, I use a small amount because a little goes a long way, it’s very pigmented!

I tend to switch it up with my blush depending on the look I am going for, some days I will use the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in the shade ‘Nectar’ and more recently I tried the Tarte Amazonian 12 hour Blush after receiving it as a gift and I am completely obsessed. It’s pigmented and contains no shimmer, it’s such a beautiful dusty rose and would look great on all skin tones.

I don’t always wear eye shadow but when I do, you can tell that I love the Naked Basic and my go to for all over my lid is Foxy and W.O.S; for a more dramatic look use the shade Faint on the corner of your eyes along with the Laura Geller eyeliner.

I am a huge mascara fan, have tried high end and drug store products and have concluded this Telescopic Mascara is hands down my must have and all time favorite. I always have one on me! A make up tip I learned a long time ago is use a dryer mascara first and then apply a newer one. The reasoning behind this is because newer mascaras are wet and give you the fresh out of the shower lashes (not quite the look we are going for).

These are my go to products, whether it’s a night out or business meetings I know my skin will look fresh and not cakey. Regardless of what your go to products are a little goes a long way, make up isn’t meant to cover up your face just to enhance your lovely features!
