Happy First of October, is it just me or has September flown by!? Not quite sure where it went but there are 3 months left of 2017 and it’s exciting and scary. Feels like this entire year has actually flown by, but it’s been amazing none the less. October is about to be another busy month, looking forward to it all; so many fun events come up so I am excited to share them with you.
This weekend Arnel and I did a ton of fall cleaning and ran a few last minute errands before my sister’s wedding this upcoming weekend which I am super excited about. A ton of our family is coming to town and being around family is always a good time, reminiscing of old memories and tons of laughter.
If you are in the market for new fall wardrobe or just want to add a pop of color or leopard then this post is for you. Adding a fall hue to an all neutral look is the perfect start! I went to a Mustard Cardigan (wearing a Medium for a relaxed fit) which I know will come in handy; mustard and golden shades look great with black, brown, beige, denim jeans and of course a classic white tops. It’s the perfect golden tone, so rich and so easy to transition from fall to spring. I also found a similar one under $25 here.
This Black Ruffle Skirt might look just a tad bit familiar; you aren’t mistaken, I wore the white version in NYC here. I love it so much, work appropriate (if you are short like me) it falls right above the knees and is a thicker material than the one in white. It can also be worn with tights during the colder months. I am wearing a size 2 for reference, Club Monaco runs a bit small in bottoms so I would size up. I also found two budget friendly versions here and here.
This White Silk Equipment Top is unlike other white tops I have worn recently. The collar is flattering, the holes add a unique touch and the button down gives it the ability to layer (throw a crew neck sweater over it). I also found a few similar tops that would look great with the black mini, like this black and white one here, this ruffle neck one (obsessed with it) & this gorgeous ivory one with ruffle sleeves.
Leopard might be my favorite trend of all, I don’t even actually consider it a trend, it’s definitely a classic pattern that should be in everyone’s closet. Leopard Loafers are the way to go, I wore these to NYC and are definitely true to size. I also love this J.Crew pair that I recently purchased (don’t need any breaking in). Found a budget friendly pair under $90 HERE.
