Monday’s aren’t always as productive as they were today, but I just felt so inspired and had so much energy from the amazing weekend I spent with family that I just wanted to do as much as possible. Got an early start to my morning, spent the day in meetings (but very productive for sure).
Since the time has changed, as soon as I get off work, Arnel and I both try to just take a walk in the park or in the neighborhood, get as much fresh air and just enjoy each other’s company without distractions. It didn’t hurt that the weather was absolutely gorgeous, was in the 60’s and sunny which made it that much more delightful.
I will add that I got extra lucky because Arnel had the day off, so I got to come home to a fridge fully stocked (Arnel did a major grocery run) so I had to spoil him a little bit and make his favorite dinner before my blogger book club.
A few of my blogger friends and I created this “blogger book club” and it’s not a real book club, it is just a place for inspiration and motivation, it’s a get together we have every so often to just chit chat and have fun, because there is nothing better than having a a group of supporting women around you, letting you know you are doing amazing every step of the way. It’s like a girls night except we all share a common interest and that’s blogging.
As we have slowly eased into the fall, I have started to dig a little deeper in my recent sweater purchases and this Dusty Blue Ruffle Sweater might be one of my favorites, it’s honestly just too cute to pass up. It runs a bit big, so make sure to size down. The ruffle neck and sleeves add such a feminine touch, it’s light so a tissue turtle neck could be added during the colder months. It’s only $35 and would look great for work with a pair of trousers or with some dark denim for a night out.
I love to wear my white vintage crop jeans (last seen here) as much as possible, even in the fall and winter. They have been sold out for a while but J.Crew recently came back with blue denim version and they always seem to go out of stock in a heart beat; a few sizes still left here. Also found a similar pair of White Designer Jeans here; currently on major sale.
For a splash of pink I added my new Jeffrey Campbell Pointed Toe Slingback Flats in this gorgeous pink suede. I was uncertain about the sizing, so I ordered a 6 and 6.5 and honestly this year it seems as if my foot has shrunk because I always end up keeping the 6. The 6.5 fit fine, but the back was just a bit roomy for me, if you have a wider foot then stay true to your size.
Hope you all have an amazing week and be sure to enter the GIVEAWAY, today is the last day!
